Billing at There is designed to be flexible and straightforward, accommodating teams of all sizes and usage needs. Below, we explain how billing works, how to manage your organization’s subscription, and how to make adjustments when necessary.
Team-Based Billing
Billing is calculated based on the number of members (excluding guests) in your organization. Each member is assigned a seat, and you can add or remove members as needed throughout your billing cycle.
Key points:
You are billed for the maximum number of seats occupied during your billing period.
Removing members does not reduce your charges for the current cycle but frees up their seats for other members to join without additional fees.
Example:
Your team hires two temporary contractors and assigns them as members in the Team Plan (10 seats). Once their contracts end, you remove them from the organization. Their seats remain available for use until the end of the billing cycle, allowing you to assign them to new team members without extra costs.
To manage members: Go to your "organization" > "settings icon" > "Members" to add, remove, or reassign seats.
Report-Based Billing
Each plan includes a monthly allocation of report credits, based on your subscription level:
Free Plan: 3 reports per month.
Starter Plan: 15 reports per month.
Team and Business Plans: Unlimited reports.
If you exceed your report limit:
Upgrade your plan to access more reports.
Wait for the next billing cycle when your credits reset.
Delete reports from the current cycle to free up credits for new ones.
Example:
Your team reaches 15 reports on the Starter Plan but needs to create one more. You can either upgrade to the Team Plan for unlimited reports or delete an older report from the same cycle to free up a credit.
To manage reports:
Navigate to the left-hand panel, click "..." next to a report, and select options to rename, duplicate, delete, or download it as a PDF.
Changing Plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, and adjustments are handled seamlessly:
Upgrading: Charges for the new plan are prorated based on the remaining days in your billing cycle.
Downgrading: Adjustments take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Example:
If you upgrade from Starter to Team mid-month, you’ll only be charged the difference for the remaining days of the cycle.
Canceling a Plan
Canceling your subscription is easy and can be done at any time without any long-term contracts or retention specialists.
What happens when you cancel:
Your organization is moved to the Free Plan, retaining access to all notes and report history.
If your organization has multiple members, you must reduce the team to a single member to maintain access to content under the Free Plan.
How to cancel:
Go to your "organization" > "settings icon" > "Plans."
Select "Cancel Subscription."

Billing for Multiple Organizations
If you manage multiple organizations under the same account, each organization is billed separately based on its selected plan.
Key points:
You will receive separate invoices for each organization.
If the same individual is a member of multiple organizations, their seats will be billed separately for each organization.
Annual vs. Monthly Billing
You can choose between annual and monthly billing for your organization, depending on your budget and team needs:
Annual billing: Save approximately 15% compared to monthly billing.
Monthly billing: Offers more flexibility for teams with fluctuating sizes.
Renewal dates:
Annual plans renew on the anniversary of your subscription date.
Monthly plans renew on the same day each month (e.g., a plan started on May 3 will renew on June 3).
